When you commision a custom home build with Omega Homes, you’re protected by the Tarion warranty and our dedication to complete customer satisfaction. As a full-service builder, our job doesn’t end when we hand over the keys, we’re always available for warranty service and to ensure every final detail of your dream home is perfect.
Tarion—formerly known as the Ontario New Home Warranty Program—was created by the Ontario government to oversee warranties on new homes. Tarion is a private, not-for-profit corporation that is funded entirely by builders through registration, renewal, and enrolment fees and its purpose is to ensure all new homes are properly built and free of defects.
When working with a Tarion-registered home builder, like Omega Homes, new homeowners are protected with a seven-year warranty should anything go wrong. Tarion warranty service includes protection against material defects, basement and foundation wall water penetration, defects affecting electrical, plumbing and heating systems and coverage for damage to exterior cladding as a result of defective materials. The home is also covered against any major structural defects for the first seven years including the failure of any load-bearing element.
