As the population continues to grow, residents living in Greely can expect to see more shopping centers and grocery stores built for the convenience of the community. Although the downtown core is close enough to go and enjoy a night out, sometimes it’s nice to stay local. The neighboring township of Manotick has a bunch of restaurant options just a short drive away. The Greely Community Association organizes multiple events as well, including their annual Greely Winter Carnival. The carnival runs for an entire weekend and offers a wide array of activities, from sleigh rides to dinner and comedy shows.
